Our story

This started in a shared bedspace, not a boardroom

Our founder lives in a shared bedspace in the UAE — rent, DEWA, water, gas, groceries, and trips split between roommates every month, tracked in a physical log book. Every month-end turned into a hectic reconciliation of who owed who, with amounts regularly missed or forgotten.

The breaking point came when a group of friends in another bedspace paid two months of shared meal money upfront to a new caterer — who vanished in the third month, untraceable. Zentle exists because financial trust is scarce where people live paycheck to paycheck, and nobody should have to find that out the hard way.
